
This group meets monthly to offer advice to the pastor concerning
finances of the parish. This committee includes parish members, the
pastor, and the business administrator. The financial statement for the
month is discussed at their meetings, as well as particulars on
fund-raising for the parish. The budget is planned and implemented with
input from the staff, the Finance Committee and the administrator to the
pastor. Each staff and standing committee in the parish submits its
proposed budget for the coming year and the Finance Committee discusses
and advises the pastor on the budget. Capital improvement areas are also
the Finance Committee’s responsibility.
