K-5 Faith Formation


Grades K through 5th attend classes on Wednesdays from either 4-5:15 PM or

5:30-6:45pm.  Classes are held September- April. Home schooling is also an option.

 

The elementary grade level’s objective is to enrich the children’s spiritual lives through Christian faith formation and sharing. All areas of learning are used; i.e., visual with films, videos, active participation in liturgies, hands-on experience with activities to enhance each lesson, and listening and participating in discussion of the lessons being taught. Family activities are sent home with the students, as parents are the primary educators of their children in the faith.

Parents are expected to attend Household of Faith events with their children.

 

The Sacraments of First Eucharist & First Reconciliation are received in 2nd grade.
