Prayer Shawl Ministry
We are so fortunate here at St. Bridget of Sweden to have 14 parishioners who are involved in making prayer shawls for our community. A prayer shawl is a homemade knitted or crocheted shawl that is given to people in our parish who are suffering with an illness. The shawl is made in a spirit of prayer for the person who will eventually receive it. They would literally be wrapped up in the love and prayers of our God and our community. Our hope is that the shawl be a sign of our love and connection to them during their illness.
